Man Who Beat Up Trader At Ijora, Then Went Nude Arrested For Constituting Public Nuisance

A 30-year-old man, Raphael Adeyemi, was, on Wednesday, arraigned in an Apapa Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, for allegedly exposing his nakedness to children in a public place. Adeyemi, is facing a five-count charge of assault, damaging property, causing breach of public peace, resistance to arrest and acting in a manner that could corrupt children.
The prosecutor, Corporal Friday Inedu, told the court that the accused committed the offences on July 23 at 2.30 p.m. at Adeyemi Street, Ijora-Badia, Apapa. Inedu said that the accused undressed and exposed his naked body in the presence of children, thereby acting in a manner that could corrupt the public.
